Since the early 70’s SusieQ Wood has been documenting her life experience and observations through art, activism and entrepreneurship. She is an award winning artist and the publisher of Natural Awakenings magazine in Broward County, Florida. For seven years, Wood produced the Expo of Heart, promoting the integrative wellness industry, attracting over 2,000 people annually.

Her current artwork focuses on environmental health and she has connected with organizations such as Warner Independent Films, Lovewell, Water Matters, Citrix Corporation, Museum of Science and Discovery and many others. She has exhibited her art in Los Angeles, Seattle, Orlando and Fort Lauderdale and is a Member of the local organizations ArtServe and Broward Art Guild. SusieQ resides by the beach in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and has a daily ritual of walking the beach and cleaning it up. From that she upcycles selected pieces for use in her art work.
